Im really glad I read thru the book because it would have been totally inappropriate and confusing to the child. I was taken by surprise by the subject matter of the book. I was not aware the book was about an adopted child.I wanted to give it as part of a Christmas gift for my grandchild who lives out of state, but only read it when it arrived for shipment to her. Under normal circumstances, this would be an ideal book for an adopted child to read. Sorry.

This is a fabulous book to start conversations with children and students about something everyone has had happen. It is written in a very eloquent way.
